Greatly enjoyed the fact that I chose this great affordable hotel. The staff was pleasant and helpful and check in was friendly. My queen room was airy & huge. I had exceptionally comfortable bed, a microwave, central heating, an iron and ironing board. Marvellous and incredible location, it was next to Edinburgh by train from Preston for a two night stay. There was pizzeria Curry Cafe, that I found within 10 minutes' walk of the property.

A lot of food at breakfast, such as toast and porridge.

The bed was possibly the most comfortable I've ever experienced-like sleeping on a cloud. The fridge setup with fresh milk and water outside the room was a nice touch for late-night coffee cravings.
The bathroom could use some maintenance, particularly the slow sink drain and grouting needing a refresh. There was a noticeable amount of dust on surfaces, and the stairs leading to the flat were steep, something to be aware of. If it rains, expect a damp atmosphere in the room. I found the windows fogged up and towels not drying well. Plus, the sound from upstairs, especially kids, was a bit distracting at times.

Positive, Great stay! The location was perfect, super easy to access the city. Room was lovely and quiet, and the bed was really comfy. The host was very friendly, helped with a taxi to the station, and even provided fresh milk. Would definitely book again 😊

Fantastic location! Super friendly service, fresh milk in the fridge was a lovely touch. The bed was surprisingly comfy and sleep came easily. It's a lovely choice for exploring the city!
Room a bit compact. Modest space for luggage. The steep stairs can be tricky, especially with heavy bags. Not the place if you're after expansive accommodations.

The location is ideal for enjoying the
Sights of Edinburgh, just a short walk from great restaurants. I appreciated the thoughtful provisions such as fresh milk and water in the fridge. Bathroom privacy could improve as some layouts feature shared facilities.

I almost thought it would be good, but even the bathroom severely needed maintenance, and the noise from kids above was unbearable. And can we talk about the lack of special treatment? A room upgrade would have been nice. Guess i'm just another regular guest here. Downright disappointting experience, i woouldn't recommend it.

Had a lovely stay here! The bed was super comfy and I especially enjoyed the cozy sitting area with books to unwind. Just a heads up, the bathroom was a bit compact, but it didn't ruin my overall experience. Can't wait to come back! 😊

This place is in a great location, just a few minutes away from Omni Centre in town, and the double room I stayed in was fantastic with its own private shower and toilet.
